Data Security – Ensuring physical security over customer data

Customer data is any personal information held in any format. Examples include national insurance records, addresses, dates of birth, family circumstances, bank details and medical records. Information should be kept securely at all times so that criminals can’t use it to commit offences such as identity theft.
