RU13/07 - We have updated a number of our template documents to reflect the 2013/2014 tax rates, so please ensure that you do the same.

RU13/06 - On the 25th March 2013 a policy statement confirming the changes to the rules and the FCA Handbook was released. In this article we disclose the restrictions on the use of the FCA Logo.

RU13/05 - The Consumer Insurance (Disclosure and Representations) Act 2012 received Royal Assent on the 8th March 2012 and came into force on the 6th April 2013.

RU13/04 - As of the 1st April 2013 (yesterday) the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) came into power and replaced the Financial Services Authority. In this article we disclose further information about the FCA requirements.

RU13/03 - Over the last few months we have been continually monitoring the Financial Services Authority website for publications on the forthcoming changeover to the Financial Conduct Authority. On the 25th March 2013 they finally released a policy statement confirming the changes to the rules and FCA Handbook.

RU13/02 - The Financial Services Authority have released a statement this month that they have been approached by the British Bankers Association (BBA) to discuss the potential for introducing a time line for PPI complaints, if they fund a sufficiently widespread advertising campaign.

RU13/01 - Last year we wrote an article following the thematic review that the Financial Services Authority (FSA) carried out on staff incentives. They have now released their final guidance paper which marks the start of a programme on how firms can reduce the risks. The programme will be taken forward by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which will have the objective of making sure markets work well so that customers get a fair deal.
